
| Significance of Roi Et Rajabhat University’s Emblem
The present university emblem depicts the Privy Seal of H. M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej, composed of the Octagonal Throne, the Discus ( Chakra), in the middle of which is the symbolic letter “Unalome” insignia. Around the Chakra Discus, there are rays radiating in all directions. Above the Chakra Discus is the Seven-Tiered Royal Umbrella over the Octagonal Throne, meaning that His Majesty the King has sovereign power in the realm. The seal is circled by the name of the university in Thai and English., consists of two oval shapes covering the Royal Seal, and beneath the top oval is Thai written “มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏร้อยเอ็ด,” and below is the English written “Roi Et Rajabhat University.”
- Navy blue represents the Thai Monarchy that defined and conferred the University name “Rajabhat University”.
- Green represents 36 Rajabhat University locations located in beautiful natural environments.
- Gold represents Intellectual prosperity.
- Orange represents the advance of local arts and culture prosperity in 36 Rajabhat Universities.
- White represents a philosopher’s pure notion of His Majesty the King.
